And the nominees are (sorted alphabetically):

Ramin Abraham, Sr, Evanston, 220 – Won his regional bracket that included #3 Jacob Bellizzi and #4 Sean Kelly. He won with a first period pin in his first match then majored Bellizzi 12-4 in the finals, beating him for the 3rd time this season and improving to 45-0 on the season.
Abe Assad, Sr, Glenbard North, 182 – Remains undefeated at 42-0 and helped North capture the regional championship over rival Wheaton North. Abe pinned his way through the tournament, including a fall in the finals over Goetz of Wheaton North that clinched the team championship.
Cameron Clark, Fr, Illini Bluffs, 113 – Cameron is 32-2 after winning the regional championship. He impressively beat returning 106-pound state champion Monte Gregory of El Paso-Gridley 9-3 in the finals.
Luke Luffman, Sr, Urbana, 285 – Made a big statement in his regional final knocking off Cadet freestyle champion Hayden Copass of Westville 14-2.
Joey Murphy, Sr, Grayslake Central, 145 – Won the 2A Lakes regional in a bracket that included #4 ranked TJ Cottam, #5 Murphy, and #7 Jackie Sistrunk.
DeAnthony Parker, Moline, 170 – Regional champion beating the #1 seed Cade Harris of East Moline in semis and #5 ranked Alec Defour of Minooka in the finals.
Bryce Shelton, So, Marian Central, 138 – Led his team to a regional title with a title of his own at the Harvard regional beating #1 seed and #3 state ranked Trey Piotrowski of Prairie Ridge, a 2x state placer.
Christian Valadez, Jr, Carmel, 132 – Beat Elijah Reyes of Antioch 4-3 in the semis and #3 ranked Jeremiah Duty of North Chicago 4-2 in OT in the finals to claim the Lakes regional title. Has a 23-1 record for the year.
