STATE COLLEGE, PA • The path to Paris runs through the Bryce Jordan Center on the campus of Penn State University this weekend and, in what may be the most challenging Trials across all weights for the US, whoever comes out as the US representative will undoubtedly be a true medal contender come the Olympic Games this August. Because of what has become a juggernaut of competition stepping onto the mat at each weight, the freestyling that will be expected in order to win, as well as the freestyling expected to keep pace, may be something higher than fans have had yet to experience.
For Illinois, there will be four Freestylers taking to the mat this weekend with the dream of being an Olympian.
