CHAMPAIGN • Saturday morning dictated state placewinners three, four, five and six, while Saturday night was reserved for the Grand March and the 1A, 2A, and 3A Illinois State championship matches.
And after the bouts were wrestled out, and the formal podium photographs were taken, Illinois Matmen’s Clay Guida was able to speak to a few of the state champions. Here is a list of six wrestlers he was able to meet up with:
