Illinois Matmen Website Redesign Launched

We have officially launched our website redesign!

While there are still a few pages that need ported over to the new design, most of the work is done and you can begin enjoying the new look. If you notice any major issues, please let us know.

The primary reason for the redesign was to make the site more mobile friendly. See what I mean by loading the site on your smart phone or tablet. The site is now responsive and much easier to navigate on mobile devices.

The forum remains unchanged at the moment. However, we do plan to upgrade the forum during the offseason.

I want to point out that you now have the ability to comment on articles directly from the main site. You must have an Illinois Matmen forum account, and you must be logged into the forum in order to comment directly on the articles. Just scroll to the bottom of an article and you will see a box to comment. Again, you must be logged into the forum first. I recommend using the “Remember Me?” check box when logging into the forum and you will always be able to comment both on articles and in the forum.

Another way to comment on articles is simply to post a reply in the news forum as you have done in the past. There will be a thread for each new article on the main site.
