And the nominees are (sorted alphabetically):

Aydin Guttridge, Sr, Rockford East, 285 – Beat 2A #2 ranked and returning state placer Billy Blaser of Geneseo 3-2 on Friday night and then won the Rockford East tournament on Saturday with a fall over honorable mention Ulises Apentanco of East Aurora and another 3-2 win over Blaser in the finals.
Matt Ramos, Sr, Lockport, 120 – Followed up last week’s OW performance in a loaded 120-pound bracket with 4 returning state placers at the Barrington tournament by beating returning 3A State Champion Jake Rundell of OPRF and returning 2A State Runner-Up Joey Cape of Washington at the Washington Super Duals on Saturday.
Trevor Swier, Jr, Montini Catholic, 182 – Coming right off the state championship football field in his first match of the season, Trevor knocked off 3A #4 Danny Benoit of Mt. Carmel in a dual between two of the state’s top teams, #1 Montini and #3 Mt. Carmel. Montini won the dual 33-25.
